What do I need to rent a car?

A valid driver's license (1+ years old), a valid ID and a minimum age of 23. For pickups and 4x4 it's 25. Deposit is paid in cash or by transfer at pickup.

Do you deliver to the airport?

Yes. Delivery to Henry Fernandes Airport and any address within Nieuw Nickerie is free. For other locations in the district we charge a small fee based on distance.

What's included in the price?

Accepted Answer

All-risk insurance, unlimited mileage, 24/7 WhatsApp roadside support and delivery within Nieuw Nickerie. Fuel is on you. You receive the car with a full tank and return it the same way.

Question 4

Can I drive to Paramaribo or the districts?

Yes. You can drive anywhere in Suriname. The insurance applies country-wide. Travel to Guyana or French Guiana is not allowed without prior arrangement.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup time. After that we charge one daily rate. Send us a WhatsApp and we sort it instantly.

Question 6

Which currencies can I pay in?

Accepted Answer

EUR, SRD or USD, cash or bank transfer. We agree the final price upfront so there are no surprises later.

Question 7

How high is the deposit?

Accepted Answer

The deposit varies by category: city cars from €150, SUVs from €250, pickups and 4x4 from €400. You get the full amount back on return, provided the car is in the same condition.

Question 8

Can someone else drive the car too?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as they're listed on the contract as a driver. We just need to see their license at pickup. A second driver is free.
